Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born on the 16th of April, 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. His father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English descendance. The mother of Taylor-Joy is Spanish and has English roots. Four of her siblings belong to her father's previous marriage. They were initially located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult, and she did not take the time to learn English, hoping to go back to Argentina. The school she attended had to be changed between Northlands and then Hill House. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in productions. At the age of 16, she left school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to be an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management, who offered her the opportunity to model.
