Kelly Clarkson has been a musician and singer in the United States for over 20 years. She took home American Idol during the first season. It was not just a major success and a huge success, it also earned her a recording contract for numerous albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. From her first appearance in the series, she has released a number of albums. Three of those albums were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The others were near the top. She's one of the top artists who originate from The American Idol series. As she achieved success she explored a variety of themes and music styles often co-writing her songs in accordance of her own feelings. Her work was praised by critics and a number of prestigious awards for her individuality as well as her singing talent. In particular, she's won the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her work in music, she's also seen on TV and in film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. In addition, she was active in charity work as well as various other organizations.
