The crown was awarded to her Miss Columbus in 1985 after having a crown kiss, and beating her competitors. In the wake of her win, Miss Georgia 1985 was entitled to enter her in that pageant. Additionally, on the weekend of June 22, 1985, she won the tournament. Mohr later went on September of 1985, to be a part of Georgia at Miss America 1986, a pageant staged in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Mohr did not make it to the Top 10 Finalist for the title of Miss National.
