
Beverly Lumbres Caimen, born on June 20, 1994, also known as Beverly, is a Filipino pop singer based in Japan under the Avex Trax. Her most well-known works include music videos, including "Be the One" in Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" in Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen was born on June 20, 1994 in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines as the third child to Ramon Vega Caimen and Leticia Valdez Lumbres. She had one brother and two sisters. Beverly began singing at age five, when her mother sent her to school and discovered she was talented at singing. At the age of seven, old, Beverly joined the school choir, and began singing lessons at the age of nine. Her mother also encouraged her to join in the choir. It was around this time she participated in her first singing contest, however, she didn't take home the prize. However, her mother convinced her to keep singing because she wanted to gain more experience. Batangas State University awarded her an undergraduate degree. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in competitions for amateurs to chase her goals. She was awarded first prize in the World Championships of Performing Arts. Then she began recording songs under GMA Records, and collaborated with Vehnee Saturno. In the year 2000, she came out with Beverly Caimen, her first and only album for GMA. Beverly was nominated for the Best Performance by Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She was also awarded the A Song of Praise Music Festival Year-long prize for the best Performance.
